Plum Kitchens is a design and cabinetry studio located in the Central Park neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. We specialize in tailored layouts and 3d renderings for new construction and remodels. In addition to design services, Plum Kitchens sells quality cabinetry, countertops, and hardware for kitchens as well as bathrooms, laundry rooms, and wet bars.

When entering our boutique design studio, we want you to think outside the box and be inspired. From walking through our well-appointed vignettes, to making selections in our product library, reviewing your new dream space at our floor plan development table, or enjoying coffee from our beverage bar in our dining nook, every step should feel relaxed and thoughtful. We will collaborate with you to create the most authentic and inspiring design for your home, creating something that is uniquely yours, treasured, and loved.
our story
Hi there! I am Kaimee Martelli, owner and principal designer of Plum Kitchens. I decided to start Plum Kitchens in hopes of creating a design studio that allows you to slow down, create, and enjoy the process. I have spent 23 years in kitchen design and have a BA in Interior Design and a minor in Art from the University of Northern Iowa. The merging of aesthetics and color from my art background and technical and structural knowledge from my design background combine to form beautiful, functional, and storied spaces. I like to focus on the full kitchen experience by getting to know your cooking style, how you like to organize, and how to make the kitchen function best to develop a love of cooking and helping for the entire family, including the kids. My goal is to create a space that is loved, cherished, and filled with memories. Or in one word, plum.

My recent awards include NKBA Peak awards in 2020, 2021, 2023, and 2024. My Summit View project was published in the March/April 2024 issue of Colorado Homes and Lifestyles, one of my favorite design magazines! When not designing, I enjoy spending time with my husband, trying to keep up with my two active boys, going on mountain adventures, being outside as much as possible, reading, or snuggling with my rescue dog, Pixel.
